Textile horizontal fire shutter are used to close openings between floors, in ceiling or roof structures and for building in skylights.

This horizontal fire shutter is advantageous for minimum spatial requirements, since under normal conditions it is coiled in a cover that is placed in such a manner not to obstruct normal operation.

The main quality required is the fire resistance of these shutters. The horizontal fire shutter ATRHOPU has fire resistance E 90 DP1, E 120 DP1 (up to the dimension of 3 x 6 m). In order to increase fire resistance or for bigger dimension of the shutter, spacing or spraying (cooling with water) can be utilized. By this fire resistance up to EW 60 DP1 can be achieved.

The fire shutter ATRHOPU was successfully tested in the PAVUS a.s. test institute, and also in the FIRES .r.o. test room, and is certified on the Czech and Slovak market.


The manufacturer issues Declaration of Conformity for individual commissions, within the interpretation of Act No. 22/1997 Coll., as amended, in Slovakia then pursuant to its Slovakian alternative.

• The shutter enables a unique solution of fire-prevention partition of openings passing through the ceiling, without any additional special structures, fixation in concrete, masonry or steel profiles.
• The shutter is made of a special fire-resistant textile, the warp of which form stainless steel wires filled with glass fibres with surface coating of a mixture of polyurethane with aluminium powder (thickness 0.54 mm).
• Standard dimensions of the shutter are 3 x 8 m.
• Standard dimension of the winding box of the shutter is 475 x 300 mm.
• The shutter is controlled electrically by means of a driving system (electric motor with gearbox and electromagnetic brake).
• It allows automatic closing from the EPS switchboard (potential-free contact or by 24V DC signal), even in case the supply voltage from a backup supply drops out.
• Electronic control of individual functions of the shutter proceeds by means of a special AOP control unit, including control elements (buttons or key control).
• Local autonomous fire sensors, optical and acoustic signalling can be supplied together with the shutter.
• The textile horizontal fire shutter has a very low weight (textile = 1kg/m2).
• The speed of the shutter closing is approx. 100 mm/s.
• All visible steel parts of the barriers are painted in a shade according to the RAL sampler, or are cold-galvanized.
