If EI fire resistance is accentuated in the area of fire shutters, of our wide range of products we offer special types:  FLEMA VR60 and FLEMA PS60.  In this case, water spraying need not be utilized to meet the EI requirement. These conform even to EI 60 requirements.

In some cases the requirement on design structure of DP1 need not be met. This requirement is usually the most frequent and DP3 specification is requested – then it is the time for these two shutter types.   They differ mainly in the way of moving. The FLEMA VR60 is shutter type and FLEMA PS60 is sectional. It is really unique since individual lamellas consist of wooden core. The core is impregnated with a fire retardant and the entire structure is in a hardened plastic cover.  AVAPS intends to launch on the market a third modification of this type of fire shutter in a side-sliding version.
