The company AVAPS s.r.o. has been active in the area of fire safety of constructions since 1998. Of the broad variety we focus mainly on development, manufacture and installation of fire shuters and equipment for smoke and heat outlet. Of the second named category, it is mainly designing, manufacture and installation of smoke barriers.

Fire shutters of openings are divided mostly in shutters of small openings, i.e. fire-proof doors and shuters of big openings that can be of shutter type, sectional, folding or side-sliding. See the following pages for more detailed information on the assortment and types of fire shuters.

Devices for smoke and heat venting are divided in devices designed for forced smoke and heat venting (ventilators), then devices designed for spontaneous smoke and heat venting (fire skylights and flaps). The third group includes devices rectifying smoke and heat movement, i.e. smoke barriers that can be either fixed or mobile. See the following pages for the details on the products from this area.

Bulkheads, seals and paints – this section will familiarize you with the assortment supplied by the German company SVT which has more than a forty-year tradition in the development and manufacture of material for fire protection. These are mainly soft fire plugs of passages, fire paint for steel structures and fire paints for cables and cable ways.

In the chapter dedicated to accessories of these systems, we offer control switchboards to operate fire shutters of their own production under the name AOP in type series 3 and 4. The last version of the control unit is AOP 4.3 operated by a microprocessor with a number of functions. See the following pages for more detailed information.
