The device ALEDOX K2 suits professional cleaning. Cleaning by dry ice blasting is a simple, efficient and cost effective cleaning method. During dry ice blasting, the prime surface is not damaged, and the process is not abrasive.

Parts of dry ice are accelerated by compressed air (usually 6 - 8 m3/min at 6 - 9 bars) and directed to the surface that is cleaned. After impact on surface, dry ice sublimates instantly into the surrounding atmosphere.  During sublimation of dry ice from solid to gaseous phase, dry ice enlarges its volume many times (about 800 times) and thus the benumbed layer falls off easily.  No other waste originates and the original foundation does not get damaged, only impurities release.

It cleans where others cannot. It is a considerate way of cleaning which does not load environment. It uses recyclable CO2 and reduces wasting of water or use of hazardous chemicals. It is suitable for cleaning small deep cavities, moulds and slots where other cleaning methods fail.
