The textile active smoke barrier ATRKOZ is designed to divide the building in smoke zones in case of fire, and prevents consequential smoke spread to other areas. The barrier is designed as a vertically sliding shutter.

This active smoke barrier is advantageous for minimum spatial requirements, since under normal conditions it is coiled in a cover that is placed in such a manner not to obstruct normal operation (usually above the floor).

The main quality required from these smoke barriers is their fire resistance. Textile active smoke barriers ATRKOZ have fire resistance D 60 (the device is designed in accordance with CSN EN 12101-1).

This smoke barrier ATRKOZ was successfully tested in the FIRES s.r.o. test institute, and was granted the CE certificate No. 1396-CPD-0027.

• The shutter is made of a special fire-resistant textile, filled up with glass fibres with surface coating (0.4 mm thickness).
• The design allows the shutter to be placed on an opening or into it (or combination of both variants, as the case may be), without any additional special structures, fixation in concrete, masonry or steel profiles.
• The shutter can be connected in a line, which can create unlimited lengths of barriers.
• The standard dimension of the winding box is 205 x 210 mm, for bigger barrier dimensions the size of the box is 205 x 405.
• The smoke barrier is controlled electrically by means of a tube drive (electric motor with gearbox and gravitation start-up).
• It allows automatic closing from the EPS switchboard (potential-free contact), even in case the supply voltage by means of gravitation drops out.
• Electronic control of individual functions of the smoke barrier proceeds by means of a special AOP control unit, including control elements (buttons or key control).
• Local autonomous fire sensors, optical and acoustic signalling can be supplied together with the shutter.
• Textile shutters have a very low weight (textile = 0.45kg/m2).
• The speed of the shutter closing is approx. 100 mm/s.
• All visible steel parts of the barriers are painted in a shade according to the RAL sampler.
